It’s okay if you don’t have a job before graduation; it’s okay if you don’t have your life together; it’s okay if you go back home to live with your parents after college for a while; it’s okay if all you get is a seasonal position… You will be okay if you have worked for it…
A Real Winter
One cold winter night it got down to 52 degrees below zero. Only one car on campus got started. From that night on we had to bring our car batteries into our dorm rooms every night. The furnace broke down that night and we had to sleep in sleeping bags with hats on. The buildings were creaking and cracking all night long. The next day it warmed up to 20 below zero. – Lawrence Funk, 1966
Halloween Memories
There are pictures in the yearbook [1979]… We had a party at the Forestry Club Cabin. Lots of beer and dancing. It was a BLAST!!! I think I went as Pippi Longstocking with my long braids attached to a coat hanger so they stuck out..haha. – Holly Balzer, 1979
