The Paul Smith's College Writing Support

Seniors Say Farewell

Our graduating Writing Tutors give us some parting words of wisdom, reflecting on their time here at PSC.

We in the CACS are so grateful to have been able to work with these wonderful students! We wish them all the best with wherever their travels take them. We hope that they remember their time with us here at PSC with a smile and fond memories.

What a wild year this has been! I am so proud of all of my fellow student at Paul Smith’s for powering through this semester. As some of you know, I am a graduating senior this semester! As a final farewell to all of the  students that visited the Writing Tutors, fellow Writing Tutors, and our amazing supervisor, Tracy, I write to you the following: Always keep your chin up. Always. You can do absolutely anything you put your mind to. Want to graduate in 3 years instead of 4? Do it. Work hard. Want to travel the world and spread your love for the environment? Do it. Spread your passion fiercely. You are capable of amazing things. I look forward to visiting Paul Smith’s in the future and seeing what phenomenal things are happening there. With much love and a heavy heart, I bid you all adieu. Never stop writing and believe in yourself.

Farewell friends, peers, and fellow Smittys!

I am so grateful for the time I have been able to spend with all of you. It is hard for me to say goodbye to the institution that has been my home for three years, but this is not a goodbye forever, rather, a goodbye for now. I have a feeling that my story at Paul Smith’s is not over but that a single chapter in a story has been completed. I want to thank everyone who has made my experience meaningful and for all the fond memories I will have in the future. Being a graduate of Paul Smith’s College is, by far, my greatest accomplishment yet and I am so glad I got to experience school with all of you! For those of you continuing your education in the fall, remember to keep your head on straight and to always do what is best for you.

Thank you for the experiences and the friendship!
