The howling of the goose
Commence- commence
And the April showers shall bring May flowers no more-
No more
Let the howling of the goose commence, commence
As the goose shall arrive as the spring breaks the dawn
The howling of the goose
Quiet- quiet
He thought it was the spring
But the spring is no more-
No more
Let the howling of the goose quiet-
Quiet
As the spring runs away from us
Shall it ever break the dawn
The howling of the goose
Commence commence
The howling of the goose
A sign of the morning
If the winter will ever come to an end
Let it be at the howling of the goose
The chirping of infancy
The young attempting to fly
Making it halfway across the meadow
Towards the lake the golden
The lake of ice
The howling of the goose
Come soon
I beg you
Break the dawn
Bury the snow
The howling of the goose
Commence commence
As the morning rises
The snow fades
The perpetual winter
Erases
The memory of summer time
Begins again
Summer time
Spring time
I beg you
O! goose
Howl away at the winter wind
Chase away those spring time snows
The howling of the goose
Commence commence
The snow at last recedes from us
The ice
Shatters and fades upon the lakes
The howling of the goose
What wonder
You have wrought
You have brought
An end to the deafening silence of snow falls
The howling of the goose
Commence commence
The ice has gone
You come ashore
You nest in tall grasses
Along lakesides
The howling of the goose
Rebirth rebirth
After a silent winter
Let the howling of the goose
Calm calm
You twist your nettles
Your twigs
Your grasses
Building a new home for your
Infancy
The howling of the goose
Arise arise
As your pale creamy eggs
Are placed in those home
The howling of the goose
Commence commence
In a celebratory dance
Your young have hatched
Out of their shells
A soft cooing from
Their mothers
And fathers
All of their fluff beings to oil and thicken
The howling of the goose
Your beautiful prized youth
The soft cooing of the goose
Plop into the water for the very first time
As the April showers have brought May flowers
And the ice has gone away
The howling of the goose
Fledglings take flight
Do not yet begin your plight to fly to your winter homes
I beg of you goose
Stay a while longer
As your presence forbade the snows to come
And as you take flight and begin that long, arduous plight
South you go
And the Arctic winds breaks through
I beg of you
O! glorious goose
With all of your youth and glow
Bestow upon me
The blessing of your spring time
Throughout all of eternity
The howling of the goose
Commence- commence
And the April showers shall bring May flowers no more-
No more
Let the howling of the goose commence, commence
As the goose shall disappear as the winter breaks the dawn
