The dining hall closed early? Bored of campus life? Need to buy some groceries? All aboard the Smitty Shuttle! On Friday and Saturday from 3pm to midnight, and Sunday from noon to 5:30pm, you can find convenient transportation to and from Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, in front of the Student Center. What’s the catch? It’s free! No more giving gas money to your friends or buying a ticket for the bus. Just bring your student I.D. card to the green van marked “Smitty Shuttle,” tell Peter where you’re heading, and get ready to have a good time in town. If you’re unsure of your destination or you can’t make it to the designated drop off areas, talk to Peter on your ride in and make a special arrangement. Just don’t be late! I advise taking advantage of this service and making a trip to Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks this weekend!
