I’m sorry, I tried
I’m sorry I tried
Accumulating and patient
Learning, not latent
If only it worked
I’d fix it if it were broken
A million hours labor on these hands
What’s a million more?
No schematics
No parts
Simple, uncomplicated
Just human hearts
I’m in disrepair with nothing to fix
It’s just the cost of getting ones kicks
Rules were made to be broken
spoken?
It would be perfect if I lacked the imagination to suffer
Now a broken rule, no buffer
I labored
Open arms and a warm bed
I’d rather
Frigid bed, quiet head
These things take work
There needs to be room for growth
Could it have worked for us both?
Tinkering, toying
Festering, destroying
A love one had
It feels like she’s employing
Life is business
Manipulation is key
How did I let it happen to me
A broken home that was only a camp
I tried and tried to leave a stamp
Weathered and washed, other winds blew through
You stand soundly, not undue
I tried and loved
I wanted a home
I wish I fucking left it alone
