Ducks Unlimited, since the late 1930s has been significant in reversing the history of wetland loss and degradation in North America, including in the Adirondacks. The success of the Adirondack Chapter of Ducks Unlimited was evidenced by the abundance of passionate conservationists who attended the inaugural banquet. The event was held at the Paul Smith’s College Forestry Cabin, which hosted a sellout crowd, and then some, with projected numbers of about 150 tickets sold. The event was put on by some very ambitious members of this chapter, along with a number of enthusiastic Paul Smith’s students. The event would not have been possible without the great efforts of the many dedicated volunteers and the extremely generous North Country community that showed great support with many donations. The event reveals increasing optimism for the future of Adirondack wetlands.

My dream is to get a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Science, and incorporate it in with my photography business, and some photo journalism.
