Blue Skies and Black Flies is the Apollos’ version of “Cheers and Jeers”, heard of it?  We cheer the things that make this campus great, and jeer the less-than-stellar. Blue Skies, good. Black Flies, not-so-much. We welcome compliments, complaints, rants and raves of all things PSC.

Blue Skies!

A big Blue Sky for the Hot-dog Man! Consistently delivering quality dogs through rain and shine. He’s a Paul Smith’s staple. A true legend, and he’ll be missed as winter rolls in.

Black Flies…

Why is the Bobcat Bar still closed? It’s one of the best options for students of Paul Smiths to enjoy a few drinks with their buddies while not having to risk driving back to campus after drinking. The longer the Bobcat remains closed, the higher the risk of accidents posed by drunk driving.

Blue Skies!

I have to give a Blue Sky to whoever is running around campus putting googly eyes on everything. It never fails to put a smile on my face, and on some days it’s just what I need.

Black Flies…

People are parking in the wrong parking lots. Stop. It is very inconvenient and annoying, and you are stealing someone else’s space. This is probably part of a larger campus-wide parking problem.

Blue Skies!

Blue Skies for this past weeks Haunted House! It was fun and scary, accessible, and it was a really cool and creative event. Everyone that I went with had a lot of fun!

Black Flies…

The unnecessary state trooper presence in the Paul Smith’s area. I often see three or four troopers between the campus and Brighton. It just feels excessive for such a small community, not to mention our tax money is going to waste paying for such obvious over-staffing.
